We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team at the Central Accommodation Facility in Marl.

As a Childcare Specialist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides support to refugees and asylum seekers. Your role will involve working closely with children and teenagers, helping them to settle into their new environment and facilitating their integration into German society.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to children and teenagers, promoting their emotional and social well-being
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of our clients
• Conduct activities and workshops that promote cultural awareness, language skills, and social integration
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in a field such as education, social work, or youth care
• Experience working with children and families in a similar context
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluency in German and English (additional languages an asset)
