We are seeking a skilled Product Marketing Manager to join our team at Clarios. As a Product Marketing Manager for Heavy Commercial Vehicles, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our business in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Roadmap Development:
- Develop a strategic product roadmap for heavy-duty batteries, considering market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.
- Identify opportunities and challenges within the heavy commercial vehicle battery segment through market analysis and collaboration with commercial and engineering teams.
- Define and execute effective product positioning and messaging strategies to differentiate our offerings in the market in collaboration with the communications team.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and end-of-life, ensuring timely and strategic decisions at each stage.
- Analyze and evaluate the performance of existing products within the heavy commercial vehicle battery portfolio, identifying opportunities for optimization, expansion, or retirement.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for product innovation or enhancement.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment of product marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and promotions, collaborating with communications, sales, and product development teams.
Customer Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their needs and ensuring alignment with product development and marketing efforts.
Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, tracking performance against targets and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Solid experience in product marketing within the automotive industry, preferably with a focus on heavy commercial vehicles or aftermarket products.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights to drive informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market trends and customer needs into actionable plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing automation tools.
- Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
