Risk Management Specialist for Capital Investments

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist for Capital Investments to join our team at Öffentliche Versicherung Braunschweig. As a key member of our Capital Markets team, you will be responsible for managing and mitigating risks associated with our capital investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies for our capital investments, including quantitative analysis and risk assessment.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of our capital investments, including risk-adjusted returns and portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with our investment team to develop and implement investment policies and strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis on market trends and risks, and provide recommendations to our investment team.
  • Support the development and implementation of our capital investment strategy, including the consideration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management or a related field, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets, investment products, and risk management techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience with Bloomberg and SAP-FAM is a plus.
