Join Our Team as a Senior Financial Services Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Services Auditor to join our team at Siemens AG. As a Senior Financial Services Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting pre-audit planning, developing a strong understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy, and performing analyses to ensure that all risks are identified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-audit planning and develop a strong understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy.
  • Manage global client contacts and auditees, solidifying CF A as a trusted advisor and help manage risks for Siemens.
  • Interview clients to extract crucial information and use analytical skills to identify root causes of findings.
  • Assist clients in developing improvement measures and participate in audit closing meetings with management.
  • Drive digitalization in the audit environment and prepare Siemens for future challenges.

Requirements:

  • At least 8+ years of working experience in a financial services function within Siemens, a risk management / compliance / finance organization of a regulated financial institution or alternatively in a financial services practice of a 'Big 4' / leading consulting firm.
  • Profound knowledge in at least one of the following financial services areas: underwriting and portfolio monitoring of large international project finance, corporate and acquisition finance transactions, financial services regulations / regulatory requirements, Compliance, AML, CFT.
  • Strong academic history, including a university degree in business / finance, ideally with a specialization in banking.
  • Firm understanding of the rules, laws and regulatory requirements of the European financial markets.
  • Experience in the application of relevant Compliance related regulations and guidelines.
  • General project management expertise in a complex global organization.
  • Effective communication as well as presentation skills and attentive listening abilities in a global setting.
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally as well as to live/embrace our work-remotely culture.
