Job Description

At Bosch, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Purchasing department. As a Logistics Transport Services Purchasing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our team in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for external logistics services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of purchasing and supplier strategies, particularly in the area of warehouse services purchasing.
  • Support international tenders and contribute to strategic projects such as global framework agreements, purchasing processes, and requesting EU Competition Commission on planned mergers in the transport industry.
  • Independently take over projects relating to purchasing processes, purchasing controlling, and the development of standards.
  • Support our national and international buyers in Europe, North and Latin America, Asia, and India.
  • Project management, including preparing for management reviews and supplier meetings, supporting our digitalization strategy, developing automated purchasing processes, and supporting purchasing management.
Requirements:
  • Studies in (Technical) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Development, or comparable with a focus on purchasing, logistics, supply chain management.
  • Confident use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience in PowerBI or similar IT solutions is a plus.
  • Conscientious and resilient, work independently and structured, communicate effectively, and adapt to changes.
  • Very good in English; German is a plus.
