About Our Client

We are partnering with a high-calibre international mid-cap fund from the Nordics to find an Investment Analyst/Associate to join their new investments team in Frankfurt.

They are looking for a proactive and analytical individual with a strong track record of commercial and financial analysis, and a strategic mindset. This is a unique opportunity to join a new, driven team in an established setup with a strong track record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities through research, expert interviews, commercial and financial analysis, and financial LBO modelling
  • Represent the company externally, e.g. with M&A advisors and financing partners
  • Prepare analyses, models, and investment memorandums on prospective transactions and present them to the team
  • Act as a fully responsible deal team member, executing all relevant due diligence workstreams
  • Support the investments value creation agenda in close cooperation with the responsible director and/or investment manager
  • Take an active role in ongoing communication with management


Requirements
  • Strong academic track record and first relevant full-time work experience in private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting
  • Sound investment judgment and business sense; ability to evaluate businesses and spot opportunities
  • Ideal experience and network in the DACH region
  • Ability to execute due diligence workstreams
  • Intellectual agility, strong analytical and financial acumen, exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in German and English
