Aerospace Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Germany.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable client in the aerospace industry, specializing in structural repairs and modifications. As an Aerospace Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently, adhering to aviation safety guidelines.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs and modifications according to manufacturer's instructions (SRM, SRI, SB, etc.)
• Install, repair, inspect, and replace structural components, addressing cracks, corrosion, or deformation as part of inspections or reports
• Ensure the safe and timely completion of structural repairs
• Maintain compliance with aviation safety guidelines throughout your work
• Handle metal tools and materials safely and responsibly
• Accurately complete relevant repair documentation in a timely manner
• Carry out composite repairs in accordance with OEM specifications

Requirements:

• Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or equivalent qualifications in mechanical engineering or metalworking
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in metalworking
• Prior experience in painting or working with composite materials is advantageous
• The ability to use standard and specific tools correctly
• Good English language skills are essential
• You should be comfortable working in confined spaces
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are required
• A team player who enjoys collaborating with international colleagues

About the Salary:

Based on industry standards and considering the level of experience required, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be approximately €60,000 - 80,000, depending on qualifications and prior experience.
