E.ON's Digital Technology organization is seeking a skilled Cloud Application Integration Developer to join our Expert Services team. As a key member of our team, you will design and build the integration landscape of tomorrow, driving the green transition with digital innovation.

Your Role

  • Analyze and design integration scenarios for various use cases across the E.ON group in the cloud or on-prem, independent of the used integration platform.
  • Design and develop complex integration scenarios and integrate systems and services using our portfolio of integration solutions.
  • Be open to using the best fitting integration platform for the different businesses like MS Azure Integration Services, AWS, or MuleSoft.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the development process.
  • Review and analyze solution designs and development to ensure that group standards are met and the design of the specific integration scenario fits into the overall integration architecture.
  • Work with various stakeholders in and out of feature teams and projects, building state-of-the-art integration scenarios.
  • Utilize experience and knowledge across the entire lifecycle, training teams, and sharing knowledge for a better together.

Your Profile

  • Several years of proven experience within the area of enterprise application integration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of corresponding technologies (e.g., cloud services, microservices, JSON, XML, REST / SOAP, Java, Python, containerized apps) and integration solutions (e.g., API, ETL, ESB, Event hub).
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of MS Azure Integration Services, AWS integration services, or similar platforms.
  • Solid background in agile methodology and design thinking, with the ability to gather and collect requirements from end-users and translate them into design/code.
  • Being a team player combined with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent German and English communication skills (written & spoken); additional EU languages will be a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe.
