Strategic Finance Leader for Digital Transformation

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Finance Leader to drive the digital transformation of E.ON SE's finance functions.
Job Description:The successful candidate will lead the definition and implementation of the company's Digital Finance strategy, overseeing two teams of finance professionals. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and socializing the Digital Finance strategy roadmap.
- Owning the Finance Digital budget and allocating resources optimally.
- Guiding senior leadership on impact, risks, costs, and timelines for digital finance initiatives.
- Serving as the main point of contact for senior leadership on prioritizing and positioning digital finance initiatives within the corporate/finance strategy.
- Making decisions on digital finance group governance policies and ensuring alignment across all finance digitalization projects.
- Acting as a partner to local leadership, managing the interface between finance and IT, while ensuring effective communication and alignment across the organization.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in finance functions, with subject matter expertise in controlling/accounting/tax/treasury and IT/digital.
- Several years of leadership experience, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and guide senior leadership decision-making.
- A strategic mindset to drive the broader corporate agenda and a passion for implementing innovation.
- Excellent presentation and strong communication skills.
- The ability to build reliable relationships and enjoy networking within the wider E.ON (Finance) group.
- An empathetic, solution-oriented, and inspiring leader with a hands-on mentality.
- Fluency in English and ideally in German.
