About the Role

Project Manager - Complex Execution

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of complex orders across our portfolio during the site erection and commissioning phases of new build projects in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a project team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including financial performance, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education to HNC or HND level or equivalent, ideally with an engineering or commercial background.
  • Several years of project management experience, or equivalent role related to power plant construction.
  • UK installation/construction experience and knowledge of CDM Regulations.
  • Commercially aware and able to defend claims to and from customers and subcontractors.
  • Experience in leading and managing interdisciplinary teams without disciplinary responsibility.
