Portfolio Manager for Aircraft and Ship Financing

Role Overview

ING Deutschland is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team in the corporate banking segment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our aircraft and ship financing portfolio, leveraging your expertise in financial markets and structured credit products to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement portfolio management strategies to optimize risk and return for our aircraft and ship financing portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including account managers and sector colleagues, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Conduct financial analyses and prepare portfolio reports to inform business decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, including loan defaults, and work with internal restructuring departments to develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, account managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Specialized degree in business administration or finance.
  • Several years of professional experience in portfolio management for aircraft and ship financing.
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets and structured credit products.
  • Extensive expertise in negotiating, structuring, modeling, and implementing lending transactions.
  • Skilled in negotiating and drafting loan documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and an eye for credit risks.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and actions.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
