As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our last mile delivery operations in Europe. This includes developing and implementing effective transportation strategies, managing business relationships with 3PL providers, and analyzing logistics costs to optimize transportation spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze target last mile markets and develop an effective transportation strategy
- Manage business relations with 3PL providers, including provider selection, onboarding, and daily transportation activities
- Conduct regular analysis of logistics set-up and implement improvements to operational and commercial processes
- Track and report logistics costs, assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives, and optimize transportation spend
- Build strong relationships with 3PL partners, monitor performance metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Identify and manage projects to improve customer and provider experience, working closely with internal and external teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- First-hand experience and knowledge of e-commerce last mile markets and logistics
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and 3PL partners
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data analysis, excellent analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and basic knowledge of SQL and warehouse management systems are a plus
- Fluency in English, knowledge of German or a Nordic language is a plus
