Job Summary

We are seeking a Cyber Security Awareness Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing our global awareness campaigns. This includes creating engaging content, such as videos, articles, and podcasts, to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop global awareness campaigns to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications department to create engaging content, such as videos, articles, and podcasts
  • Develop and manage our platforms and capabilities for reporting phishing activities and running phishing simulation exercises
  • Ensure that our information and cybersecurity awareness program meets Hapag-Lloyd security policies, industry regulations, and standards
  • Create specific education and protection programs targeted at specific risk groups
  • Empower and educate Hapag-Lloyd personnel to minimize human cyber risks within the company
  • Collaborate with the CISO and IT departments in security upskilling activities
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to develop engaging content for a variety of audiences and deliver it across multiple communication mediums
  • Localize and customize the security awareness program for our regional and area teams
  • Define and report metrics to measure the effectiveness of the security awareness program

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of significant experience in Security Awareness roles or in Learning & Development roles in IT or Security Organizations or IT-Communications
  • Presentation and training skills, the ability to translate technical and security jargon for non-technical stakeholders in an engaging, simple, and clear manner
  • Good understanding and passion for Cyber Security in general and in empowering employees
  • Ability to think out of the box and create realistic simulations, such as phishing campaigns and other forms of social engineering attacks
  • Experience with different awareness/training delivery methods, including eLearning, simulations, gamification
  • Experience collaborating with (or working in) Corporate Communication teams
  • Understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR) and other security standards and frameworks (ISO, OWASP Top 10, CIS Top 20, NIST CSF, KRITIS etc.) is an advantage
  • Experience working in large international organizations and in handling large enterprise projects
  • Experience in transformational projects in IT or Information Security
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
