Staff Data Engineer, Data Alliance

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Data Alliance team at HelloFresh. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data pipelines for our behavioral data products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to design technical solutions for data architecture.
- Build data models and pipelines for behavioral data collected across all markets, brands, and platforms.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of HelloFresh's core product and architecture, serving as an ambassador for data solutions and best practices.
- Address software and data challenges with visible risks, roadblocks, and constraints.
- Advocate for Data Operational Excellence, assisting teams and Engineering Leadership in identifying and prioritizing investments that enhance data quality and robustness of data pipelines.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Ability to analyze complex data challenges, identify potential solutions, and implement effective strategies to address them.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Leadership qualities, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members.
