Payroll Specialist with SAP Expertise

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at BASF Services Europe GmbH. As a key member of our HR Services Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality payroll services to our clients in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, improve, and maintain administrative processes in SAP HR.
- Prepare the monthly payroll, post payroll, and standard and ad hoc reports for a dedicated payroll area.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements concerning our payroll services and regulations.
- Contribute to process reviews and improvements, focusing on efficiency and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools, and consult on their implementation.
- Document processes and relevant legal regulations in accordance with our high-quality standards.
- Support the strategic and professional development of the allocated area of payroll topics.
Requirements
- Vocational training or university degree in Business Administration or similar.
- 5+ years of experience working in Payroll for Belgium, with fundamental knowledge in HR Administration.
- Experience with SAP HR is an advantage.
- Strong service and solution orientation mindset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in Dutch and good level of English. Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage.
