Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Strategic Liability Underwriter. As part of our international commercial liability business, you will develop market-driven underwriting strategies, conduct complex risk assessments, and support our global branch offices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop country-specific underwriting strategies for the international commercial liability business.
  • Underwrite and negotiate large and complex risks, including program management.
  • Support and guide international branch offices or subsidiaries, including occasional travel abroad.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and discuss local underwriting strategies.
  • Steer portfolios and conduct claims analysis.
  • Perform liability underwriting audits worldwide.
Requirements
  • Several years of professional experience in liability insurance, preferably with an international footprint.
  • Commercial, technical, and scientific understanding.
  • University degree in economics, business administration, or law, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong team player with entrepreneurial skills and reliability.
  • Excellent intercultural skills.
  • Fluent English; German language skills beneficial but not required.
