Job OverviewThis is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Strategic Liability Underwriter. As part of our international commercial liability business, you will develop market-driven underwriting strategies, conduct complex risk assessments, and support our global branch offices.
Responsibilities- Develop country-specific underwriting strategies for the international commercial liability business.
- Underwrite and negotiate large and complex risks, including program management.
- Support and guide international branch offices or subsidiaries, including occasional travel abroad.
- Analyze profit and loss statements and discuss local underwriting strategies.
- Steer portfolios and conduct claims analysis.
- Perform liability underwriting audits worldwide.
- Several years of professional experience in liability insurance, preferably with an international footprint.
- Commercial, technical, and scientific understanding.
- University degree in economics, business administration, or law, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong team player with entrepreneurial skills and reliability.
- Excellent intercultural skills.
- Fluent English; German language skills beneficial but not required.
