Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Vibration Specialist to join our team at Volocopter GmbH. As an Aircraft Vibration Specialist, you will be responsible for the certification process for vibration conditions of aircraft and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Definition of appropriate vibrations verification methods and procedures for aircraft equipment and systems compliance demonstration
- Contribution to the aircraft vibration environment signal processing and analysis
- Leadership of vibrations requirements definition, validation, and verification activities
- Liaison with system engineers, flight sciences, structures, manufacturing, and quality teams
Requirements
- Master's degree in aviation or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a vibration engineer in the aerospace industry
- Experience in validation and verification of complex aircraft systems
- Experience with type certification processes for an aircraft
- Knowledge of RTCA DO-160 testing methods and SAE-ARP-4754A, or equivalent industry standards
- Good understanding of all technical aspects related to aircraft systems, aircraft flight physics, and data signal processing for vibrations
- Experience with requirements management tools
- Proficient with quality management and processes
