Kini is an early-stage startup based in Berlin, dedicated to revolutionizing recruiting based on data. Our integration platform empowers recruiting tools to exchange data effortlessly.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team full-time as soon as possible. As one of our first hires, you will play a key role in growing the company.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of building up our tech team, leading own projects, and taking personal responsibility.
- Have a significant impact on building up our tech infrastructure and developing new products.
- Develop and maintain our web application using the Django framework and Python programming.
- Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and integrate Google Cloud Platform services, including Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run.
- Manage and optimize database systems, applying knowledge of SQL to create and manage schemas efficiently.
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs, adhering to best practices in API development and integration.
- Strong dedication and willingness to go the extra mile with us.
- Expertise in designing B2B Software applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ideally 3+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency or capacity to learn our tech stack: Python, Django, RESTful API, GCP.
- Previous founding / early-stage startup experience.
- Front-end development experience is a plus (React, Angular).
