Procurement Specialist for Regulated Industry

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

This Procurement Specialist role is a critical component of our Supply Chain function, responsible for managing the procurement of direct and indirect materials to support business requirements. This includes sourcing, negotiating costs, purchase order management, and inventory management.

• Plan and manage all purchased parts within responsibility area, making decisions to release, firm, cancel, or defer purchase orders based on current inventory, demand, and capacity.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production plans and meet business objectives.
• Review, interpret, and communicate material demand forecasts and manage capacity planning for assigned commodity groups and/or supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and partners across different time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and negotiation of supplies and services from various vendors.
• Purchase order management and tracking.
• Inventory management and control.
• Supply chain risk management and mitigation.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in economics, industrial business management, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of purchasing experience in a regulated industry manufacturing environment (medical device preferred).
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office products, SAP, Coupa, and Agile.
• Demonstrated expertise in buying, material planning, master scheduling, and forecasting.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
