We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced export control specialist to join our team in Magdeburg-Barleben. As an export control specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of all planned exports with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the procurement department and product specialists to ensure compliance with export regulations
  • Classify and document export-controlled items in the SAP material master and project-specific documentation
  • Support the import-export department in classifying items for import transactions
  • Participate in the development process of new products from an export control perspective
  • Issue certificates (export data) to customers and suppliers
  • Verify and update export data in response to changes in the Harmonized System or export control lists (EU and US)
  • Support the preparation of export license applications as needed

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training in a commercial or technical field
  • 2-year vocational training (state-certified technician or business administrator) or several years of experience in export control classification
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
