Your future role

As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for organizing content in a modern Content Management System to realize a maximum reuse of information.

You will also be responsible for independent implementation of customer requirements, including the requirements of the contracts.

Additionally, you will analyze and implement feedback from assessors and authorities out of the locomotive authorization process (Safety-relevant application conditions (SRACS)).

You will check maintenance records for the vehicle and for the systems for completeness and formal correctness.

Furthermore, you will autonomously create mounting/demounting instructions according to drawings and research on the vehicles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Relevant experience in technical writing (authoring and editing)
• Skills in working with a Content Management System
• Desired competences: teamwork, problem solving, communication, building partnerships
• Fluency in German and English
