Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Monitoring Team Lead to join our 24x7 Service Monitoring & Major Incident Management team in IT Infrastructure. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating, steering, and monitoring IT services, as well as coordinating the resolution of major incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the 24x7 Service Monitoring & Major Incident Management team in IT Infrastructure
  • Ensure qualified 24/7 business as usual tasks and project support of the team members for Connectivity and Unified Communication services agreed and continuously aligned with the C&UC team leads
  • Manage and collaborate with external providers in all daily matters, projects, and operations
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements in regular exchange with service providers
  • Collaborate and communicate with various business ITs and other internal and external stakeholders to solve Major Incidents in critical situations
  • Develop new tools and processes to improve service monitoring and management and handling of Major Incidents
  • Design and continuously improve an integrated reporting framework in alignment with group initiatives, tools, and standards
  • Analyze the handling of major incidents during implementation and afterwards, with the aim of identifying potential for improvement and communicating this to the responsible stakeholders
  • Manage personal development of team members

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in business informatics, informatics, or similar
  • Overall knowledge of IT Infrastructure and IT delivery
  • Experience in IT service and provider management
  • Excellent experience in IT Service Monitoring, steering of Major Incidents, and IT Infrastructure processes
  • Comprehensive analytical and communicational skills and good understanding of interplay of IT services and processes
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with all kinds of stakeholders
  • People leadership skills, experienced in running international teams and working in a multicultural environment
  • Capable of presenting in front of groups (team, steering committees, etc.)
  • German as a native speaker, Excellent English verbal and written

Advantageous, but not a must

  • Certified ITIL skills
