Restaurant Operations Manager

As a Shift Manager/Service Lead at Wen Cheng Noodles, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during your shift. This includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing operational tasks, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance.
- Train, schedule and supervise restaurant staff to ensure optimal coverage and compliance with company policies.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting teamwork and professional development of employees.
- Implement and enforce operational standards and procedures to ensure consistent high quality and efficiency in service.
- Monitor and analyze sales figures, turnover, and expenditure and take proactive measures to optimize profitability and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations through regular inspections and prompt rectification of defects.
- Interacting with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and handling and resolving concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
- Catering experience preferably with staff responsibility, is not a must.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and kitchen management.
- Excellent customer service skills, focusing on providing a memorable dining experience.
- Good time management with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
