About the Role

The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a highly skilled Ecosystem Consultant to join its Innovation Accelerator team in Munich, Germany. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and community engagement to address global hunger.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement effective community building and ecosystem activation strategies to nurture a thriving innovation environment.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events to enhance the value of our acceleration programmes.
  • Develop and execute communication plans and outreach campaigns to amplify our impact and promote our thought leadership in humanitarian innovation.
  • Support the overall Innovation Accelerator operations, including providing analysis and content preparation for corporate priority topics and management meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a master's degree a plus.
  • At least 3 years of progressively responsible national or international experience in innovation events planning and implementation.
  • Fluency in oral and written English is mandatory, with intermediate knowledge of another official UN language considered advantageous.
