Responsibilities

• Internal consulting on specific and strategic sustainability issues for operational and functional areas
• Independent analysis of market and customer requirements, implementation of sustainability analyses, such as product life cycle analyses, identification of measures e.g. for CO2 reduction, evaluation, implementation and tracking of measures, communication and certification of results
• Further development of competences, tools and processes
• Knowledge transfer and training activities
• Closed cooperation with various internal and external departments, including customers, suppliers and associations

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the field of chemistry, (industrial) engineering, process engineering, MINT or comparable
• Relevant professional experience and track record in the field of sustainability, in particular life cycle assessment
• Very good knowledge of standards, specifications, certification systems, tools, databases for sustainability metrics and in particular life cycle assessment
• Very good knowledge of English required and good knowledge of German of advantage
• A high degree of initiative, ability to analyse, strategic thinking, personal responsibility, teamwork and communication skills
• Professional experience in the chemical industry and technological expertise are of advantage
• Enthusiasm for the topic of sustainability and enjoy developing and implementing creative solutions
