ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Corporate Communications Intern, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our team with both internal and external messaging strategies. Collaborating with colleagues across various markets in Central Europe, you will gain valuable insights into BCG's employee communications and media relations within Germany.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing engaging content and visual designs for diverse communication channels, including newsletters, videos, and townhall meetings.
  • Contributing to the creation of innovative concepts for internal communications.
  • Tracking media trends and identifying opportunities to showcase BCG's content effectively.
  • Assisting the Media Relations team with research, preparation of briefings, and compiling BCG studies for journalists from key business outlets.
  • Supporting the analysis and presentation of media reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Participating in regular planning meetings and aiding in the operational organization of the team, including database management and subscription oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Enrollment in a postsecondary educational institution or completion of a relevant degree, preferably in fields such as business management, marketing, media & communications, or journalism.
  • A passion for communication and a creative mindset.
  • Experience in writing, ideally with some background in journalism or communications.
  • An interest in business and economic topics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with familiarity in Salesforce or similar tools being advantageous, as well as experience with AI applications.
  • A basic understanding of graphic and video editing software.
  • Fluency in both German and English.

TEAM ENVIRONMENT

You will be integrated into our Corporate Communications team in Central Europe, collaborating closely with colleagues from various offices. Your supervisors will provide guidance throughout your onboarding process and support your professional growth, ensuring you benefit from the collective expertise of the team.
