About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Sogeti, part of Capgemini. This is an exciting opportunity to drive digital transformation and work on cutting-edge cloud-based infrastructure projects.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting cloud-based infrastructure, platforms, and applications to ensure they are secure, scalable, optimized for performance, and meet software requirements.

  • Provisioning and Management: Deploy and configure virtual machines, containers, and other cloud services. Manage storage, networking, and compute resources to ensure scalability. Implement automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
  • Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud environments for performance issues and optimize resource usage by utilizing tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or third-party solutions to track system health, performance, and uptime.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement cloud security best practices, such as encryption, identity, and access management. Regularly apply patches, updates, and backups to ensure the security and integrity of systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards through proper configuration and audits. Create and implement disaster recovery plans (DRP) to ensure business continuity in case of a failure.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate deployments. Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline workflows and ensure efficient cloud operations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Strong understanding of Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Certifications required: AZ-900, AZ-104. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator & Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate is a nice to have.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French and good command in English.
