At LEONI, we are seeking an exceptional Electrical System Engineer to join our team. As a key contributor to our automotive wiring systems, you will be responsible for developing and designing innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.



Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and analyze wiring systems for advanced technology projects, customer series projects, and product development.
  • Update system and domain requirements, architecture, and design to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Initiate and perform 2D, 3D, and schematic design for wiring systems, ensuring seamless integration with other engineering disciplines.
  • Perform and support design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Define and evaluate test results to validate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure efficient production and reduced costs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of wiring harnesses and related production processes to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Utilize and perform relevant methods and tools, such as FME and DFM, to ensure optimal design and manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate product change requests and provide solutions that meet customer needs and industry standards.
  • Lead and support sample build-up and define technical requirements for products to ensure seamless customer integration.
  • Perform product D2X (Design2Cost, Design2Manufacture) to optimize system design and reduce costs.
  • Support VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering) initiatives to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Act as a resident engineer as required to provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams.
  • Perform and support customer pre-RFQ concept projects to ensure seamless customer integration and meet customer needs.
  • Perform technical feasibility studies and develop technical concepts for change requests to ensure optimal system design and performance.
  • Perform design release engineering to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Check and evaluate customer requirements and specifications to ensure seamless integration and meet customer needs.
  • Provide customer-specific know-how and support to ensure seamless customer integration and meet customer needs.
  • Support technical presentations to customers to ensure clear communication of system performance and capabilities.
  • Provide technical support for CSO and COO areas and within CTO area to ensure seamless integration and meet customer needs.
  • Integrate results of customer sample verification to ensure seamless customer integration and meet customer needs.
  • Communicate with customer engineering department on a regular basis and with supplier engineering department to ensure seamless integration and meet customer needs.


Your Skills:


  • Industrial, Mechanics, Mechatronics engineering or similar degree.
  • 3 years of work experience.
  • English advanced language (80%).
  • AutoCAD, MS Office Knowledge, Product design.
  • Root cause & Kaizen tools.
  • Ability to work result-oriented in a team work.
