Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the development of new power devices at our Development Center in Dresden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and executing development projects for IGBT, diode, and SiC MOSFET products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute development projects for new power devices, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Form and guide project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Take on full project manager responsibilities, including project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Act as project owner for subordinate projects, aligning with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of technical backgrounds and interdependencies to proactively identify and solve complex challenges.
  • Consult and act as an interface to internal and external customers, including Application Engineering, R&D, Project Management, Sales, and other departments.
Requirements
  • A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, preferably with a PhD.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, with at least 3 years as a project leader, preferably in chip development.
  • Strong technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent communication and moderation skills, including strong English skills, with German as a plus.
  • The ability to understand and structure complex project situations, manage crisis situations, and present to senior management level.
