We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at OPTIPER GmbH. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including German GAAP (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Assist with the consolidation of financial statements for group companies
• Manage international financial reporting, including preparing and submitting financial reports to group companies
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
• Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification in accounting (e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA))
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, including HGB and IFRS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
