Logistics Service Coordinator Ocean Freight Export Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle ocean freight export shipments
- Plan, book, and create transport orders, as well as track and trace shipments
- Report non-conformances according to KPIs
- Cooperate with approved subcontractors according to agreed rates
- Provide PSA BDP customer support and coordinate with overseas houses/agents
- Register and process complaints
- Meet deadlines
- Prepare order settlements and process incoming invoices
- Optimize workflows and monitor results
- Ensure ISO and SQAS standards and data maintenance
Your Profile
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ocean freight
- Commercial training, ideally as a freight forwarding and logistics services coordinator or equivalent
- Experience in handling ocean freight import shipments
- Confident use of MS Office applications
- Good written and spoken knowledge of German and English
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
