Mechanical Technician

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and qualified professional in the field of instrumentation to join our team at Siemens Energy. If you have a background in industrial mechanics, mechatronics, fine mechanics, toolmaking, or electronics, you are the right person for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of components
- Cutting of optical fibers, metal, and Teflon hoses
- Surface preparation (grinding, roughening, etc.)
- Assembly and bonding of parts
- Application of strain gauges
- Polishing of contact surfaces
- Support in the assembly and installation of measurement technology
- Support in inventory management and material procurement
Requirements
- Completed training in a metalworking profession or equivalent qualification
- First experience in this field is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Enjoyment of precision and curiosity
- Worldwide travel readiness (30-40%) - Average travel duration is 2 weeks
