About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at NORMA Group. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our products, systems, and services to new and existing customers in the EMEA markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve assigned revenue targets by selling our complete line of solutions and services to accounts in the relevant industry.
  • Investigate and understand internal business processes of existing and potential clients and build relationships with engineering decision makers and departmental managers.
  • Conduct year-end closing and all other business relevant negotiations with team leader and area sales management.
  • Prepare and conduct year-to-year prices negotiations in close cooperation with Area Sales Management and Customer Coordination.
  • Complete monthly forecasting, monitoring results, and directing customer business by making use of all relevant functionalities to successfully steer the entire business process from order to cash.
  • Arrange yearly budget and marketing strategy in coordination with key account management and area sales management.
  • Implement company targets oriented at defined objectives of the Norma Balanced Scorecard and 30+ Marketing Strategy goals.
  • Perform sales analyses and reporting.
  • Frequent travel required to be present with customers and the NORMA plants.
Requirements
  • Engineering or commercial graduate with a working experience of 5 years in sales or sales-related activities, thereof min. 3 years in the Automotive and/or Energy Industries sector.
  • High affinity to engineering topics and strong knowledge of industry-specific solutions, development processes, and service provision.
  • Track record in high-margin deal making and excellent negotiation & closing skills.
  • Strong customer focus and commercially astute.
  • Detail-oriented, able to work on own initiative, resourceful, and able to create solutions in an ambiguous environment.
  • Skilled in continuous monitoring and strategic evaluation of the development of industrial products and markets, in particular Automotive and/or Energy Industries OEM and Tiers.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (C1+, non-negotiable) and ideally French.
  • Unique sense to topics related to new energy.
Preferred Background
  • Experience in a similar role in an enterprise organization preferred, but not required.
