Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Inhouse Consultant for Finance and Controlling to join our team in Saarbrücken. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the implementation and optimization of SAP R/3 and SAP S/4 HANA systems in the areas of finance, controlling, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize financial processes and procedures
  • Implement and maintain SAP FI modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting
  • Integrate with the global SAP FI/CO team and participate in international SAP roll-outs and M&A support
  • Design and implement future-proof master data architecture as part of the international SAP S/4HANA implementation project
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and extend the global template as needed
  • Act as the primary point of contact for SAP user inquiries in the finance department and ensure knowledge transfer within the team
  • Perform integration, regression, and functional testing
  • Develop and conduct company-wide training sessions for key users and end-users
  • Support the team in financial system testing, releases, and project implementation
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in SAP (R/3 and S/4 HANA) implementation and optimization, preferably in a consulting role
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and procedures, including SAP FI, CO, and Analytics modules
  • Experience with BW4/HANA, BI/BO, SAC, or Power BI is desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of database structures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
