PhD Position in AI for Model-Based Systems Engineering

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team at Robert Bosch GmbH, a leading technology and services company. The successful candidate will work on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for model-based systems engineering.
Job Description
Our team is focused on the development of AI technologies for the automation of system modeling and simulation. The PhD researcher will work on the development of AI algorithms and methods for the automatic build-up of MEMS system models in Matlab/Simulink.
Responsibilities
The PhD researcher will be responsible for:
- Developing AI algorithms and methods for the automatic build-up of MEMS system models
- Collaborating with our AI experts and system modeling engineers to gain in-depth understanding of MEMS sensors and AI technologies
- Placing papers in high-ranking IEEE conferences and journals
- Employment as a scientific researcher at Bosch for a duration of 3 years
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A master's degree with excellent grades in a suitable field such as Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Cybernetics with ML experience
- Excellent coding skills (Python, Matlab, ML packages) and experience with Matlab/Simulink
- Intrinsic curiosity and a willingness to learn continuously
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
