About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic People Transformation Consultant to join our team in Germany or Austria. As a consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform client potential into performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working jointly with BCG colleagues and client project teams to bring expertise to the team and to the client on site
  • Working independently at a module level on select topics
  • Delving deeper into specific areas of expertise within the People & Organization field
  • SUPPORTING CASE TEAMS, especially those with need for deep expertise and a hands-on approach
  • Contributing to the quality of the work, questioning results with sanity checks and with the project team
  • Becoming a member of our global practice area, engaging with colleagues beyond projects across topics and geographies
  • Educating and informing clients proactively about state-of-the-art technologies, methodologies, and tools within the People & Organization Practice and how it can bring value to their business
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of functional or consulting experience in delivering value to internal or external customers and clients
  • Deep expertise and knowledge across People & Organization topics, with a special focus on People Strategy, leadership, culture, talent, reskilling, and HR
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
  • Excellent persuasion skills to interact at high levels and manage stakeholders
  • Analytical and structured with excellent problem-solving skills
  • The ability to actively manage multiple client and stakeholder relationships and networking within the client organization in order to understand their needs and help to influence the client agenda
  • Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel frequently
  • An exceptionally good academic background, ideally from a leading university
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
