About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Device Management Consultant to join our team at ZEISS Group. As a key member of our Manufacturing IT department, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving hardware and software issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice and support to users and departments on our Manufacturing IT solutions portfolio.
- Install, configure, and operate IT systems in production, as well as coordinate necessary pre-work.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders during troubleshooting and service requests.
- Maintain and expand databases containing information on IT systems.
- Ensure 24/7 operation in case of emergency.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A completed education in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent IT certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the mentioned areas.
- Knowledge of Windows, x86 hardware, network technology, Active Directory, Acronis Backup, and Linux.
- A customer-oriented and service-minded approach.
- High motivation, flexibility, and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- The ability to adapt your working hours to meet business needs.
