Quality Assurance Specialist

At West Pharmaceutical Services, we're committed to improving patient lives through our dedication to quality and innovation. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in planning, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems in our German Toolshop.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems in collaboration with management and technical staff.
  • Support the site as an expert in quality processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Plan and coordinate projects for quality and process improvement.
  • Establish and maintain test equipment monitoring and calibration.
  • Create suitable infrastructures for data trending and analysis.
  • Process and implement customer complaints.
  • Support the introduction of new innovative processes and technologies.
  • Drive site and departmental targets/KPIs in improving the cost of non-conforming quality.
  • Develop work instructions, regulations, and forms in quality control and train personnel.

Requirements:

  • Engineering studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, measurement and control technology, physics, or similar qualification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment or toolmaking.
  • Experience with creating regulations (SOPs).
  • Good knowledge of statistics, measurement data processing, and technical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and statistical tools, e.g., Minitab, as well as SAP.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Further training in Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) is desirable.
  • Customer-oriented thinking and acting, high quality awareness, strong communication and teamwork skills, a structured, goal-oriented, and efficient working style, as well as a hands-on mentality.
  • Conscientiousness, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
