Job Description:
The Operational Support Specialist will provide comprehensive administrative and specialized operational assistance to the Group Compliance Directorate, specifically supporting the Tax and Regulatory Compliance Division in fostering knowledge management, planning, and coordinating the delivery of compliance communication per subject-matter themes. This role involves contributing to the effectiveness of initiatives and assigned tasks within the field of Tax and Regulatory Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge Sharing: Assist in disseminating knowledge sharing and related compliance communication across the team, directorate, and key target audiences within the bank, based on defined objectives and initiatives.
- Administrative Support: Execute standard and non-standard tasks of operational processes to ensure smooth and timely execution of EIB's procedures within the domain of Tax and Regulatory Compliance.
- Process Improvement: Support improvements of organisational and process efficiency within the Division, Department, and Directorate, related to the scope of accountabilities.
Requirements:
- Education: High secondary-level education; a certificate of complementary studies or equivalent experience in specific subjects (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, or Communications) would be an advantage.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in knowledge sharing and/or communication areas, with exposure to regulatory tax and compliance topics.
- Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of English; good command of French would be a strong asset.
- Skills: Good knowledge of standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with archiving and reporting tools (Business Objects).
Estimated Salary: €45,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
