About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at LeanIX. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with product teams to understand their challenges and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Research and engineer approaches to improve developer satisfaction and increase developer velocity.
  • Design and implement software solutions that span the entire process of designing, building, testing, deploying, releasing, and monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Mentor and coach other engineers in the areas of software development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software solutions meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements

  • Software engineering experience in delivering products and understanding product teams.
  • Opinionated on development processes and best practices, with experience in optimizing and automating them.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, with a track record of being a role model for engineers.
  • Strategic and tactical mindset, with experience in breaking down work into increments.
  • Understanding of the value of writing technical documentation, guidelines, and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with methods of software testing for features powered by GenAI.
  • Solid communication skills in German.
