About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at SVA. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support for our IT projects, from initial planning to completion. You will design, implement, and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, and ensure the continuous optimization of Terraform files and modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and support for IT projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform files and modules, ensuring continuous optimization and improvement.
  • Organize and deliver Terraform workshops and training sessions for team members and stakeholders.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase and solution design.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing customer systems, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Completed IT-related education, such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
  • Deep expertise in virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Specific experience with the HashiCorp product portfolio, particularly Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, and HashiCorp Vault.
  • Desirable experience in development environments, CI/CD tools, Linux operating systems, container technologies, and secret management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluent German (C1 or higher) and English (B2 or higher) language proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany for support and maintenance activities.
