About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at SYNEDAT Consulting. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our team in Helmstedt with exciting IT projects and the realization of innovative IT solutions in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, integrate, optimize, and troubleshoot complex applications and infrastructure
  • Deploy and operate applications in a cloud environment
  • Collaborate with our customers on a variety of tasks in software development and DevOps automation
  • Work in agile teams in an open, cooperative, and trustworthy environment
  • Develop DevOps and automation concepts, set up CI/CD pipelines, or further develop them
  • Ensure the agile operation in the cloud or in modern data centers, monitor critical customer applications, and analyze disruptions
  • Support your individual further development
Requirements
  • Experience with cloud technologies, especially with AWS or AZURE
  • Knowledge in Configuration as Code / Automation (Terraform)
  • Experience with the development and operation of CI/CD toolchains (Git, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.)
  • Knowledge in IAM and auth-flows (SSO, OIDC, OAuth, etc.)
  • Core competence in managing AWS, Kubernetes (kOps), and Docker/containerd
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example with Terraform or Ansible
  • Thoughtful understanding of network concepts, VPN tunnels, DNS, and routing
  • Knowledge in full-stack development of web applications (Java, TypeScript, web application servers, surface development)
  • Desirable knowledge: Jenkins, Go, Python, Kafka, MySQL
  • You communicate openly and quickly when you see a problem and have no hesitation in asking for help
  • You want to be successful with your team
  • German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills (at least B1)
