Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager for High Voltage Substations to join our team at RCM Technologies GmbH in Eschborn/Frankfurt, Germany.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the execution of construction work and ensure that it is carried out in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
  • Technical operation of the site and quality control to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Early detection of deviations and additional work to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Implement all directives and regulations for environmental protection and occupational health and safety.
  • Technical management of subcontractors to ensure that they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct customer meetings and testing materials and equipment to ensure that they meet the required standards.
  • Participate in the preparation and updating of the project schedule to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintain the site logbook of hazards and short-term special equipment configurations, on-call duty, and the site inspector.
  • Inform employees of the risk assessment and ensure that they are aware of the potential hazards on site.
  • Supervise and manage construction sites throughout Germany as a site manager and DGUV coordinator.
Requirements
  • Technical training in the field of electrical engineering, master craftsman or electrical engineering technician for work in the substation area.
  • Experience in the design, installation and commissioning of high-voltage switchgear and as a qualified electrician.
  • Appointed electrician in accordance with VDE - Operation of High Voltage Installations.
  • Experience in managing technical staff and are familiar with occupational safety and standards (EN, VDE).
  • Reliability, decision-making, organizational skills, time management, quality, assertiveness, customer orientation and teamwork skills.
  • Very good command of the German language for contact with German customers.
  • Good command of the English language on the construction site.
  • Class B/ driving license.
