We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Project & Portfolio Manager to join our R&D team at Outokumpu Nirosta GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our R&D project portfolio is aligned with the company's strategic goals, driving innovation and growth through step-change innovations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive R&D project portfolio strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver R&D projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize R&D projects, ensuring alignment with business needs
  • Monitor and analyze R&D project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in R&D project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize R&D projects
  • Knowledge of R&D project management methodologies and tools
