Lead Clinical Trials Recruitment Specialist

Overview of the Position:
This position is seeking an experienced and skilled project manager to oversee patient recruitment strategies for clinical trials. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, ensuring timely and efficient patient enrollment while collaborating with internal teams, study sites, and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Comprehensive Recruitment Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive patient recruitment strategies tailored to specific trials, considering therapeutic areas, target populations, and site capabilities.
- Monitor Recruitment Progress: Track patient recruitment metrics, assess site performance, and ensure recruitment goals are met within the study timelines.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with clinical operations, study sponsors, CROs, site coordinators, and external partners to align recruitment efforts with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Vendor Management: Oversee the performance of recruitment vendors, patient referral networks, and advertising agencies to ensure high-quality delivery of services.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify recruitment bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure steady patient enrollment.
- Budget and Timeline Management: Manage recruitment budgets and ensure project timelines are adhered to, providing regular updates to sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Patient Engagement Initiatives: Develop and manage patient engagement tools, materials, and campaigns, leveraging digital and traditional channels to enhance patient outreach and retention.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze recruitment data to assess effectiveness, generate reports, and recommend improvements for future studies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in patient recruitment or clinical trial management, with a proven track record of successful recruitment outcomes.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, GCP, and ICH guidelines; experience with digital recruitment strategies, including social media, online platforms, and direct-to-patient outreach; proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
