Job Title: Welding Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to join our international team at ETA Personal GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing welding technical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain welding technical documentation, including procedures and standards.
  • Ensure all welding quality standards are met, including those related to materials, processes, and personnel.
  • Plan and qualify welding procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and supervise welding work in piping construction, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Train and develop welders to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Represent ETA Personal GmbH in welding-related matters with third parties, including inspection organizations, customers, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Completed studies in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification as International Welding Engineer (IWE).
  • Certificates for Non-Destructive Testing, including Radiographic, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Visual Inspection.
  • Knowledge of general welding standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with technical documentation.
  • High level of responsibility, teamwork, communication skills, assertiveness, and a committed, independent work approach.
  • Unrestricted willingness to undertake occasional site assignments both domestically and internationally.
  • Valid driving license and good German skills (minimum B2) and very good English skills (minimum C1).
