Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator Textile to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our textile machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preliminary machine troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Record and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct quality audits and complete related paperwork to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with shift leads and supervisors to resolve production and mechanical issues.

  • Make informed decisions within the scope of your responsibility to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Adhere to production schedules and quality standards to meet customer expectations.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Clean and maintain machinery and work areas to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Lean standards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Effectively communicate and train others as needed to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.

Qualifications:

Work Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent level of education
  • 0-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Fluent in local language and basic English language skills
  • Basic math skills and good use of logic
  • Able to work and think independently
  • Prior experience working on a machine

Specific Knowledge:

  • Some experience in manufacturing is preferred
  • Basic math skills and good use of logic

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition, speed, and accuracy for performing repetitive tasks
  • Motivated individuals who want to work and show up to their scheduled shifts on time and excited and ready to work
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Learning agility – Learn new tasks/rotate to different cells as needed and able to pick up new tasks quickly
