Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will contribute to the development of new features for our platform, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, test, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable object-oriented PHP8 code.
  • Develop and enhance tools to automate processes, improving our development environment.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions to these problems.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Requirements:
  • Strong object-oriented PHP skills, experience with MVC frameworks (Symfony is a plus).
  • Experience in designing, building, testing, and shipping web applications.
  • Automated testing, clean code, and code coverage are essential.
  • Exceptional experience with various design and architectural patterns, algorithms, and data structures (microservices experience valued).
  • Agile methodologies and team collaboration skills.
  • DevOps mentality and experience with MySQL and Linux administration is advantageous.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/SOLR/Lucene is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
