About the Role:

Cognex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Operations New Product Introduction (NPI) team. As a key member of our global organization, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional resources and achieving key performance metrics for assigned products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop schedules and manage milestones to ensure on-time release, quality objectives, and cost targets.
  • Partner with global business unit development engineering and product marketing teams to identify obstacles and drive escalation and conflict resolutions.
  • Coordinate Operations budgets associated with products.
  • Contribute to and drive continuous improvement and enhancement processes.
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing teams to monitor and maintain product lifecycles and transitions.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in high-tech, electro-mechanical products in volume production.
  • BS degree in engineering or a related business discipline.
  • Experience with integrated (hardware and software) technology products is a strong plus.
  • Experience working on a global scale preferred.
