Senior Software Developer Position for International Flink Ecosystem

At Flink, we are seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our web and mobile app ecosystem targeting international users. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building scalable and reliable large-scale applications using Golang.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented software engineer who can help us drive innovation and growth in our platform development and microservices architecture. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy features and services that meet the needs of our international user base;
- Contributing to the planning and execution of our platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives;
- Participating in code reviews, providing feedback, and ensuring high code quality standards;
- Maintaining and improving existing software systems, identifying areas for optimization and implementing necessary changes;
- Working closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of value to end-users;
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A strong background in software engineering, with commercial experience working with Golang (minimum 2 years);
- Excellent understanding of event-based communication between microservices, as well as experience with common monitoring/alerting/logging tools such as Stackdriver, Datadog, NewRelic, Prometheus, ELK;
- Familiarity with SQL databases (NoSQL is a plus);
- Experience deploying distributed services to Kubernetes, preferably on cloud provider platforms like GCP or AWS;
- Rigor in maintaining high code quality, unit testing, and integration testing;
- Proficient in applying best practice design patterns and principles when building software;
- Open-minded personality, comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaboratively making decisions with the team;
- Fluent English communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. Additional benefits include:
